If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ve been completely obsessed with dogs for as long as I can remember! It wasn’t until 2018 that I truly began mastering my craft of Pet Photography. Since then, I’ve poured my heart into capturing the unique and beautiful spirits of our furry family members. Dogs deserve more than just a supporting role in our memories. They deserve to be honored for the incredible, unique souls they are. To have their stories told and their love immortalized.

This mission became clear to me after I lost my sweet girl, Vina Mae, in the fall of 2021. Vina, the adorable pup featured in my logo, was my teacher in so many ways...both in photography and throughout my college years, while studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She was endlessly patient with me as I learned and grew, but after she passed suddenly and unexpectedly, I realized I had hardly any photos of us together. Aside from the occasional selfie, there were very few tangible memories of our bond. That heartbreaking realization sparked a passion in me: to ensure other pet parents have the opportunity to capture and cherish their moments with their beloved companions.

Every dog has a story, and it’s my mission to tell it. My logo, a tribute to Vina Mae, is a constant reminder of the love, patience, and inspiration she brought into my life. Beyond the dog at the heart of my logo, every element holds special meaning. The flowers surrounding Vina represent the flower beds my grandparents lovingly maintained at my childhood home, which sparked my own lifelong love of flowers. The cycles of the moon remind us of the ebb and flow of life, and its presence in the logo mirrors the deep emotional connection we share with our furry companions. Finally, the ferns pay homage to my love of exploring the natural beauty of my home state, Michigan, with my own dogs. Together, these elements tell a story. One of love, memory, and a deep appreciation for the connections that shape our lives.

Through my work, I aim to create timeless, heartfelt portraits that celebrate the bond you share with your furry best friend. Let’s capture their story together, because they deserve to be remembered as the extraordinary beings they are.

When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy hiking, camping, concerts, kayaking, crafting, traveling, skateboarding, thrifting, and exploring with my two fur kiddos, Venture and Vera.
