The process:
1. booking
Your first step in booking your session should be to review our 'Investment' Page to see what Session Package may best suite your needs. Don't worry if you don't see one that quite fits your needs - Session Packages can always be customized. Reach out via the Contact Tab, to begin booking your session. We'll chat about any questions that you have, and decide on a date for the Session. Once a date has been selected, a questionnaire will be sent to gather necessary details for the session. In your questionnaire, we’ll go over everything I need to know for your session including (but not limited to!) your pet, your goals, what kind of images you want, how you plan to display them, etc. It is crucial to provide as much information as possible here, to ensure your session is completely custom-tailored to you and your pet's unique personality and vibe.
2. contract & payment
Within 48 hours of the return of your completed questionnaire, I will send a final email to complete your booking. Within that email, you will find the conformation of final details for your session (Date, Time, Location, Session Package), the Contract, and your Session invoice (Session Payment is due in full, unless you selected a Payment Plan in your questionnaire). Once you've completed these steps, you can kick back, relax, and get excited for your session! Upon completion, you'll be sent a link to the 'How to Prepare for your Session Guide'. Be sure to look at this in advance of your session for all the best tips! Please note, your Date is not fully reserved until you complete the final booking forms in this step and full payment has been received.
3. the session
This is where the magic happens! Your session is all about capturing your pet’s unique spirit in a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable environment. My goal is to create images that reflect their personality while making the experience fun and memorable for both of you. We'll meet at the location as planned, and I'll spend some time getting to know your pet before we get started. At the end of our Session, I'll walk you through reviewing and selecting images from the proofing gallery, to ensure you feel comfortable doing so.
4. proofing & ordering stage
Within 5-7 days after your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery with up to 50 watermarked images featuring global base edits. These are not your final images! At this stage, you’ll choose your favorite images for final retouching. This includes your image selection for inclusion in your final digital gallery, and ordering prints and wall art of any images you don't need/want digitals for. You can always purchase prints of your selected digitals from the gallery - but this is the only opportunity for prints of files you do not select for digital download. This is your chance to bring your pet’s portraits to life in a way that fits your style, space, and budget.
You'll have 7 days after delivery to make your digital selections and print/wall art/album orders. If you want all the images displayed in your proofing gallery available to you as digital downloads in your final gallery, you can easily upgrade your package within the Gallery Store.
5. gallery reveal
Once you’ve selected your images, your fully edited gallery will be delivered in 2-3 weeks! You'll receive an email update letting you know the gallery is complete and available to you. Here, you can view & download your fully edited digital files. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase additional prints of your selected images, if you wish to do so. Galleries remain active online for 90 days following the final gallery reveal. As your galleries expiration date approaches, we'll email you a reminder of expiration to ensure you have downloaded your images. Once the gallery has been inactivated, it will be subject to a re-upload fee if for any reason you need the gallery activated again.
